Early upgrade

Hi, hope you can help, I have been advised that I can upgrade from 70 days before my contract ends (which is this Saturday 19th November). I have been trying to call the upgrade team to discuss what options I have, but the automated message keeps telling me I can upgrade from 'next Tuesday (it's been saying this for a few weeks now).

I was called in September to discuss upgrade options and told that as I have been with you for 7 years I was classed as a loyalty customer and to deal with them direct over the phone as they can offer better deals over the phone that online or in store.

I tried to call again today but got the same 'next Tuesday' message and when I went through to person and asked to speak to the upgrade team she directed my back to the automated message.

Can you assist please

many thanks

Jeannie

Re: Early upgrade

Hi jeannie,

As your number has not yet reached it's 70 day period the upgrade options will not have activated on your account and you will not be able to get through to the upgrades team.

Depending on the tarrif your looking at there may be a way to get you upgraded now!

Best thing to do is contact the @vodafoneukdeals twitter team. They specialise in upgrades and new lines! For info on how to contact them head over here and follow the instructions. They are a small and very popular team so they may not reply straight away, stick around though as one of the team will get back to you as soon as they can.

Re: Early upgrade

I've contacted them and awaiting a contact, thanks, but I'm a bit confused as to why it says I can upgrade 90 days prior to contract end but I'm being told 70?

Hi Jeannie,

Welcome to the eForum! It's great to see Nabs has helped direct your query. The standard upgrade date is normally the last 90 days of your agreement, although it was previously 70 days on some channels. We've helped hundreds of customers to get early upgrades and sometimes with discounted agreements where available.

As you've already emailed us with the 'MMM135' subject, my team will be in touch over the next couple of days to see what magic we can work. :smileyhappy:

Cheers, Ben

Re: Early upgrade

I have still not heard anything from you guys about my upgrade. Have tweeted 3 times but no acknowledgement of tweet or email has been received. Other people seem to get responses. I appreciate the team are busy but to know that I'm in the queue would be handy.

Re: Early upgrade

I contacted them through twitter as well and it all worked out beautifully, but it does take a little time.

I tweeted them on wednesday and after replying to an email they sent me, I received a call back on friday.  so a couple of days in total.  very good really and Ian ( who called me ) sorted everything out in 5 minutes and gave me a spectacular deal as well.

so a little patience and I'm sure all will be sorted sooner rather than later.

Re: Early upgrade

Hi irvinj1,

Thanks for your posts.

I’ve checked our queue and I can’t see the email, but I’ve also sent you a Direct Message on Twitter. I’d be grateful if you could respond to that.

Hey Cbrodie,

Thanks for that feedback. Glad I could help.:smileytongue:

Cheers

Ian
