I need a replacement phone urgently, I found mine in the washing machine after it had gone through a wash, very clean but not working! I'm not due for and upgrade yet. What can I do?

First thing to do is to take the battery and the SIM out, then leave all the bits in the airing cupboard for a couple of days.  Sounds a bit optimistic, but I have seen this work before.  Apologies if you've already tried it !   

If that's no good/not effective, how long do you have left on your contract ?  Can you claim on your household  insurance ?  Could you make do with a cheap PAYG phone until you reach your normal upgrade date ?   All sorts of things to consider here !
