Employee Advantage Programme Help

Hi

I have been trying for the last few days to contact the Employee Advantage team re upgrading my phone when it is due on 11th August.

So far, each time my questions have been replied by a standard automated response, without actually answering my question.

I am able to upgrade early on 11/8/11 according to my account, and have full access to all Vodafone tariffs and phones etc.

I want to upgrade to Iphone 4 on 24mth contract, 900 mins, and free phone, £40 per month.

My question is that after reading various stories from other users about their 20% discount request being declined, I want to check that this tariff/deal is definitely eligible for the discount.

I know that my employer is definitely part of the scheme, but I'm sure you'll understand that I don't want to enter into a new contract and then find that I can't get the discount.

Please can you help as I've had no reply to my questions so far.

If you need any further info, please let me know.

Many thanks

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

Please could any of the mods help with this one. Been with vodafone for quite a few years but after the issues with milia n97 mini, and now not getting any reply from employee advantage programme, it's very frustrating. Any help would be very appreciated.

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

Hi Crozza,

Not a problem - I can understand wanting to be sure!

Any specific questions on the Employee Advantage scheme and your discount need to be addressed by email to the Employee Advantage team who will then respond back via email within two days. To do this, you need to click the Employee advantage link on your company’s intranet and follow the instructions there to submit the details.

This is designed to ensure that your query is handled specifically by a team with access to the information you’re looking for, and is why Customer Services have been unable to provide the answer when you’ve contacted them.

I trust this has helped - if so, please drop me some feedback!

Dave

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

Thanks for the reply, but the problem is that I've emailed them each time from both my company intranet & the link on the vodafone website, each time I just get a standard reply referring me to the terms & condititions on the website. I know I've used the right email address - so frustrating that no one can help!

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

Hi Crozza

Thanks for your post here. I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling with this. I appreciate how frustrating this must be for you.

Unfortunately we’ll be unable to see anything on your account and as such you really need to speak to this specific team.

Can you try giving your corporate team a call on 03333 044444?

Or try emailing the Employee Advantage team on employeeadvantage@help.vodafone.co.uk if you haven’t already.

Let me know how you get on and if you need anything else please let me know.

Thanks

Wayne

The list of companies included in the Employee Advantage Programme can be found on the previous thread.

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

Hi daniel9000,

Welcome to the Vodafone eForum from all of the team.

I must admit that we don’t come across this type of question very often and as such it has taken a little bit of research to come up with what I believe is the solution for you.

From what I can see all of the information you need can be found on the employee advantage web page, including the online form and the terms and conditions of the offer.

If you have any issues, please let me know.

James

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

I've been attempting to sign up for this alleged discount for the past week. The process seems fairly laughable and no-one in customer services or instore seems to know the proper procedure. Have had a lot of conflicting advice and am getting annoyed with the process. A colleague of mine gets a similar discount with Orange, she had no problems at all signing up for their discount.

Applied online at vodafone.co.uk/vea, filled the form in and had an email confirming my application and saying I would hear back in two working days.

After hearing nothing I called customer services who told me to apply again. This sounded pretty suspect but I did it anyway. Result- nothing.

Went instore and asked to sign up there, the guy filled in pretty much the same online form and the same result.

Emailed employeeadvantage@help.vodafone.co.uk twice who have not replied.

Have spoken again to a much more helpful customer service agent today who told me to email partneremployeediscounts@help.vodafone.co.uk to sort it out. More waiting but will see what happens.

Disappointing.

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

Hiya not sure if this is the right place to add my post so apologies in advance. I have applied for the VEA scheme (using my sister in laws details as she works for the NHS), she received the email asking her to confirm my details which she did and was informed that it takes 48 hours to process. It has been over 48 hours now and I still havent received any confirmation. Can anyone please advise.

Thank you

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

It can sometimes take a little longer to reply, but if they have not got back to her saying that the info is duff, then 9 times out of 10 no news is good news.

The discount won't show on your myaccount or anywhere else, but will be applied when your bill is generated if it is applied.

One of the team should be able to take a look at your account tomorrow and see if anything has been applied as yet.

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

Thanks for your quick reply grolschuk. I thought I would be receiving the email 48 hrs after she has confirmed my details. Its a bit odd that if she doesnt receive the email I should assume that the discount has been applied as there is no other way to confirm this. As you have mentioned that it will show up on my bill, what if the discount has not been applied as I had assumed that it had, I wont be able to apply for the scheme again as it will have been over 30 days. I am not blaming anyone at vodafone its just the system that doesnt seem a bit client friendly. Would be grateful if someone can look into my account please.

Thank you

Re: Employee Advantage Programme Help

Yea - sometimes the 48 hour stated turns into 3 or 4 days if things are really busy (mostly at the time of a new phone launch)

How long did it take to get the question back after the initial application?

As mentioned someone will find this thread eventually (it was last posted on in 2011 so won't be on the radar for the staff to start with) and then after contacting them through instruction in a PM sent to you, you should get an answer...

Roughly how long do you have left of your 30 days?
