End contract

Hi

just called your customer services and was not happy with the response I received. I was told that i could not upgrade now, but then was told i could upgrade, but only on the internet and not on the phone.

I have always upgraded on the phone to vodafone so why all of a sudden do i need to upgrade on the internet.

I have been told that my contract ends in a few months time, so i will be posting a written letter to you canceling my Three phones that i have on contract with you.

Im really disappointed with the way that vodafhone has changed over the years that  i have been with you. Its now looking like its time for a change, as i always get hassle  when ever its time to upgrade my phones. I know that there are a lot better deals out there with other mobile company's for a three phone cotract.

Regards

Re: End contract

Hi whi3ty,

I think from your post I can see the reason for what's happened.

You say you're a few months from the end of your contract. This suggests you haven't quite reached the standard 70 day upgrade period yet. Prior to that, we offer an online-exclusive early upgrade for an additional cost. Once you've reached the 70 days, you'd be fine to upgrade by any channel you wished.

That said, I am also able to direct you to our upgrade specialists who would be capable of making a no-obligation quote for an early upgrade for you. If you wish to speak with them, then follow the instructions here for setting up a new connection - they are exactly the same for an upgrade.

Drop them a line and they'll be glad to help set a new deal up for you!

Dave

Re: End contract

Well still waiting for a call from vodafone just goes to show what you think of your old customers. Think a new contract with 3 now when it ends with you. They have offered my a great deal on 3 contract phones.

Re: End contract

Hi whi3ty,

I'm sorry to hear about the lack of response to your email :smileysad: I've checked with our team and we don't seem to have received it. However, now we're aware, we can look into your available options if you're still interested. To get things rolling and to save you having to send another email, I've just sent one to you, to your forum registered address. If you could reply with the requested details, then when it is received I'll hand it across to one of the team immediately (I think you've waited long enough already) and they'll be in touch as soon as they can.

Could you also let me know when you receive the email please, and you may need to check your junk/spam filters too.

Thanks

Andy
