Free Euro Data

Hi

I was in Amsterdam recently and was nice and relaxed knowing I had free euro data on my tarrif

When I signed up to vodafone this was 5MB per day and has since increased to 25MB according to your anouncements

So I was a bit shocked to see I've been charged nearly £50 for data whilst abroad

Can someone look into this for me

Thanks

Mike

Re: Free Euro Data

I've just been on the online chat

Apparently I had to opt in by calling 40062 to activate it - which it doesn't say on any of the paper work - I don't think Euro Data was mentioned any where after selecting the price plan online

Any way the data charges were refunded and they activate the Data Travelller thing for me

Sorted :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Free Euro Data

Hi FireBurnUK,

When you called the number, which option did you need to select to put it on? Only when I called, all the options were trying to put me through to opt in with charges (either the £2/month or £10/month), but my price plan is supposed to include it, like yours did?

Thanks!

Re: Free Euro Data

This still wasn't fixed

I got charged again (which I've been refunded for again) I also showed them using the waybackmachine the exact tarrif I signed up for which included the eurodata. They've applied the £10 option to my accound but I'll be free until the end of my contract

I really wasn't impressed at how much effort this has taken to get sorted
