::::: SOMEONE HELP! VODAFONE WONT :::::
We absoluptly have to complete a mortgage application this week (beginning 25/11/2012) and we're fine - everything is in place and there is no chain BUT I'M BLACK LISTED BECAUSE OF VODAFONE. Someone took out a contract in my name a year ago and I've got a years 'bad debt' against me.
What can I do?
I had to sort this out a year ago - and I thought it'd finished (note: I had to contact vodafone several times and write a letter in the end).
First line support take an hour before you get cut off. I cant get through to someone who actually understands (cares?) - as I'm not a customer (ironically I lost £17k in shares when Chris Gent didnt pay dividends - so this is a kick in the balls from a company who owes me).
The mortgage offer expires this week (Friday 30th/No/2012- and after that it goes up significantly.
Vodafone said they'd written me a letter (last Friday) - but it hasnt arrived.
So why would I trust them to sort this out - they cant even write a letter!
Potentially vodafone could cost us £749/month for the first two years and significantly more after that.

Hi AndyWhite007,
I'm sorry that this wasn't been sorted for you previously.
I can see from the email address on your eForum profile that Customer Services got back to you earlier today to advise that things were now amended and should be fully refreshed within 48 hours.
Let us know if you need any further help.

Dear Vodaphone,
I have recently tried applying for a credit card but have been decline due to my credit report. Last year I had multiple fraudulent mobile contract accounts taken out in my name by multiple different mobile service providers, which have been settled and closed, but yet they still appear on my credit report. I am emailing you to get the fraudulent Vodaphone account removed of the system and off my credit file. Please contact me by email or on the number below if you require anymore information. Please get back to me as soon as possible.
Kind regards,
Jourdan

I received a bill for a contract i did not have, it is now effecting me getting credit everywhere else. I contacted the money collection company and they said it was a mistake but still there is something not right. I have registered and paid for Experian to check out my credit score etc and it shows an address linked to my previous address after the date i moved house for a vodafone contract in my name. Who can i contact to help and stop this but also to have it removed as a bad debt for myself. This is causing me many problems, i have all the address info etc but need help to sort it out,,,,, PLEASE.

Hi there indyana27,
Thanks for posting.
We won't be able to put you in contact with the Fraud team while an investigation is in progress. We'll give them a nudge for you though.
I'm sure you can understand because of the sensitive nature of the crime, we have to be very careful to ensure your details are as safe as possible.
Please click here to send us your details and we'll be in touch.
Thanks,
LeeH
