I damaged my phone any chance of getting an upgrade

Hi,

I managed to damage my phone on Saturday and I would like to know if it was possible to get an upgrade early? I looked onto my online account and it says I can do an online upgrade from Jan.

Is there any chance I can do anything before this date and my phone is nearly useless..

When I took my iphone I am sure I only signed upto a 24 month contract but the website says my 'official' upgrade is in May or June but online upgrade is Jan. I thought I got my iPhone back in Jan 2010 and therefore the official upgrade would be Jan and the online should be earlier?

Can someone check this out for me. If the dates are right can Voda please try and help me out. I don't mind paying towards an early upgrade but I can't be without a phone.

Thanks

Toby

Re: I damaged my phone any chance of getting an upgrade

Early upgrades operate online from 190 days before the expiry of your current contract, the deals on offer will not be as good as those open to new customers

If you have a query over the dates of your contract you need to wait for a mod to email you

As for your other options

If you don't have mobile specific insurance from voda or a 3rd party check with your household contents provider, or if you are a student or hold a premium acount your bank, as they may cover you

You need to be more specific about the damage, you won't be covered by the warenty but as it's an iPhone apple may repair it for a cost typicaly £150

your other options are to get another handset, probably PAYG and use your contract sim in that until you can upgrade

Note I do not work for voda, My advice comes from experience and my opinions are my own
