Leaving Vodafone

Former customer who left Vodafone after several contracts because of their world beating fecklessness over the last 2 years.  However not even I was expecting this.
I've just received notification of a bill (presumably final) sent by e mail.
[By the way I didn't ever ask for e mail notification, it was just done without consultation. I requested postal bills 9 months ago - told I would be charged £1 a month; grumbled but agreed to pay - ignored!].

However I cannot access my account through the useless Vodaphone UK site as it gives me a registration error [dodgy website access was the reason I requested postal billing]

It is illegal to take money from an account via direct debit without notification of the amount to be taken; I have requested a pdf of my bill e mailed directly. I'll let you know how I get on unless I'm 'moderated off'

Vodafone have proven to be so incompetent that I genuinely suspect they also have neglected to close my account and to remove my details from their database as requested in an e mail in October.

They certainly ignored my request not to contact me with the  'We're sorry to lose you' cobblers. 14 calls in total, most while I was trying to work!

Vodafone deserve to go bust. Guess who I moved to?

Re: Leaving Vodafone

Dear James

Do you know I tried your link and guess what? It didn't work. The shock! I'll never get over it.

Also phoned up Vodafone contact numbers (for which I pay presumably) . First I was automatically cut off because my phone number wasn't registered. Then I got through, only to quite deliberately cut off by a totally uninterested UK operative. Finally got through to an overseas operative who was able to tell me what my bill was and to advise me it had been settled.   Face it, your customer service, your staff and your company suck. Really, really hope Vodafone goes to the wall which is what it deserves.

I've asked Vodafone never to get in contact with me again. We'll see.

Hi vodaphoney,

I'm sorry that the link didn't work for you. I've just been onto the post and reinstalled the link, can you try again and let me know how you get on please?

Thanks

"Guess who I moved to?"

What do I get if I guess correctly? Is there a prize involved? You can't just post things like that and then not elaborate! :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Leaving Vodafone

Oh dear, Sir Astley.

If one would like to leave, then let them leave. Although I must say, I am feeling the suspense of who he went to. I'm guessing O2? Please say it was O2. Oh, that would make me so jubilant! Why, my mother is with O2 and what a delightful time she has with them, but then they call her by her Christian name, which is awfully rude and she gets all roused. I appear to be rambling...

Re: Leaving Vodafone

You want VF never to contact you again? But...

Vodafone are never gonna give you up

They're never gonna let you down

They'll never run around and desert you...

Just saying...
