After numerous attempts over the last week to upgrade my phone, thus remaining a customer of Vodafone and tieing me in for another 2 years, I've given up. Vodafone just don't want to call me!
I keep reading on the forums from Vodafone administrators saying 'We have a small customer service team', why is this the case? I go past Vodafone shops and they have loads of people working in them. It seems Vodafone are working on getting customers in but then just leaving you high and dry as no one is available to help after that. Vodafone is a massive organisation so you shouldn't have a small team giving how many customers you have. Surely you want to keep them, or maybe not given the service you have.
My contract ends on December 26th, Vodafone won't get back to 3 attempts at upgrading online, a customer service email and an attempt in the shop twice which were both met by 'We can't do anything here'. What is the best way to cancel? I've no faith in Vodafone and can't really see cancelling my contract being an easy task given how I can't get anywhere trying to stay with them.
I want out now! How much is it to pay off the last 2 months? As Engelbert Humperdinck once said 'Please release me and let me go!'

Hi, if you wish to cancel your account then the Early Termination Fee is worked out as follows- remaining months line rental minus VAT and a 2% discount.. You can get an exact amount from calling Customer Care..
The Forum team are a very small team, not Customer Care, so due to the amount of posts on here it can sometimes take them longer to get back to you..
Am sure a Moderator will be along in the next 24 hours or so to see if they can sort you out a great package
