New Contract Help

Hi
I am currently on a 24 month plan which isn't due to run out till August. Have had some major problems with my phone, a Sony Ericsson and it's completely put me off them for live.
I've been told that if I want to opt out of this contract I have to pay the monthly fee right up until the end date. I'm looking into the Iphone 4s which is obviously ALOT more money than they are currently getting out of me a month... Even if this is the case, will they still force me to continue with my current contract until it's end date or is there a way round it where I can get the 4s as soon as...
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jo0710,
As you still have almost 5 months remaining on your contract there is unlikely to be any cheap options to upgrade your phone this early
There are a few options for you:
- Pay off part of your contract to a point where you can upgrade - this may be costly initially but in the long run could work out cheaper. Note you do get a discount when paying off your contract.
- Take an early upgrade and as the remaining months to a new contract - This may not be available on your contract, one of the Vodafone Team would need to look at your account to see if this was possible. Note this may result in a very long commitment and could prove quite costly.
- Take a second line on your account to get a new handset and cancel your first line when the contract end date is reached - this will involve a few months of high bills but ultimatly will allow you to get your new handset now!
