Sorry to start my participation on the forum this way, but there you go, not my choice.
Having been a faithful pay as you go customer of Vodafone for years, I decided to switch to pay monthly and ordered a Blackberry Bold 9900 from Vodafone`s own webshop, on a 12 month contract.
Luckily I have printed my order off the screen as I have not received a single email since. Not one confirming the order or regarding the credit check or any other information.
Following two phone calls to customer services, I was told that the phone will be on its way soon.
And then yesterday a text from Vodafone: "Order Update: Your item(s) are out of stock & will be sent once available. We`ve sent you an email & will continue to keep you informed via email."
No emails since, again. Checked the webshop, it says that the 9900 is available.
I am just unhappy, that is all. I do not know why I am not receiving any emails at all, possible technical issue? I received my registration email from the forum straight away, my email is working perfectly.
The text message is obviously a different matter, I guess I just have to put up with it and keep waiting. Or cancel the whole thing?

Vodafone has released the money they had blocked on my credit card for my order, it seems I am in for a long wait.
I have been waiting nearly for a week now. By the way, still no emails. And you can still order your Blackberry Bold 9900 from the webshop of Vodafone...
Please anyone let me know if you`ve ordered your Blackberry Bold 9900 after the 15th of September and already had it delivered.

I am sorry to see that you are still waiting for your BlackBerry 9900, I understand that it is very exciting when it comes to getting a new phone.
I would recommend getting in touch with the V-Store as they will be able to see the order and check the status of this.

Thanks Guys for trying to help.
I got up this morning with the thought that ok, if it does not work out, cancel the whole thing. But minutes later there was a knock on the door and my phone was delivered. No emails beforehand, although in the previous text message I was advised that I was going to receive a despatch email as well. I hope that it will not cause any problems when it comes to handling my account online.
So, finally I have the phone and lets hope that emailwise we will live happily ever after, too.
