Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Hi kate_gray

Thank you for your post and a very warm welcome to the eForum, it is great to see you here. :smileyhappy:

I have sent an email over to the address you have provided when you registered on here, please complete and reply to this and we can start looking into this for you.

Normally this can happen if the number is associated with another account that has previously been set up, if you could provide any usernames or previous email addresses you may have used in the past on the email this will help greatly and speed up the process.

Many Thanks

DaveCD

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Hey blinkey123,

Thanks for letting us know about this.

The error you see normally occurs if there's a rogue account already registered against your number. I've sent you a PM which can be accessed here. If you could follow the instructions in the PM and send us your details one of the team will be with you as soon as they can.

I'd be very grateful if you could also have a think about any possible usernames you may have used before in time for when we contact you.

Cheers,

Lee

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Just got an email to call 191 as you don't have the access to business account. Back to square one, very dissapointed!

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

I am having the exact same problem! I am the account holder but can seem to access either 2 of my numbers due to this message saying I haven't been approved by the administrator. Can someone help please?!

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Hi guys,

meilec - We at the eForum do not have access to business accounts, however your dedicated customer services team do and should be able to resolve this for you.

-------------------------------------------

julie92x - I'm popping you a PM so we can look to sort this.

You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

I am having this exact same problem after porting my old number to vodafone. I spoke to the customer support on 191 however they are about as useful as a paper oven glove. There resolution was "google the issue" fantastic. I would appreciate some help with this one. Thanks

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Hi all,

I am now on the 3rd. week of an account issue which started with a no access error.

It has subsequently been reset or deleted and re-registered a number of times by customer services, but every time I can only get limited access to my account with the 'Your online account administrator hasn't approved your request to access your online Vodafone account. Until you are approved you will have limited access to online services.' message.

Customer services have now given up and passed me to the help forum for further advice.

Thanks.

Mike.

Hi Guys,

More details regarding this error can be found here.

However, so we can look at this for you I have sent you both a PM, please follow the instructions on the PM and we can then take a look at your accounts for you.

You can find your PM inbox here.

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Same issue here.

Though I've been through the process dozens of times of VF deleting my account and me reregistering.

It's clearly only being done each time by VF on a username/email basis, rather than deleting every possible username/email linked to the number. Thus the problems remain.

And as accounts are deleted and reregistered (at least half a dozen times now in my case), I am sure I have used different email addresses/usernames on different occasions purely to try and avoid issues which I thought were associated with the last username/email used. But I now imagine this would exacerbate the problem even more...

This needs to be sorted out by VF on a much higher level, with a major fix to their IT system. And informing customer care on what exactly the problem is each time a customer reports this happening.

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

@ James.

Thanks for your attention, but I had an email reading ........

'Hello cineriv,

You have received a private message in the Vodafone eForum.

Please click here to access the community. You will need to login before you can read your message.'

On checking my P.M's there is nothing there!  :smileyfrustrated:

Could you please send again.

Thanks,

Mike

[ Edited ]

Hi guys,

cineriv - I'm not sure why you can't see the PM if you got the email.

I'll re-send it for you - let us know if you can access this one.

-----------------------------------------

Horatio_Nelson - I'll send you a PM too.

Please keep in mind that whilst advisors can try some obvious alternate usernames like variations on a name, email and so on, they don't have a list of every username for a given account, so they cannot guarantee to catch ones you may not remember yourself. If needed we have the available option to ask our technical team to look for other usernames on their systems, but it does take a little longer to complete.

You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Hi Dave,

Yes, I have received the PM this time, but it is almost a duplicate of the original PM sent by James which I did receive.

"To assist you further with your query, we need to access your account. Please go to www.vodafone.co.uk/contactus and enter the information requested there.

Please enter the code “WRT135” in the subject field to ensure your query reaches the team, and include your forum username and a link to your post within the main text box to help us find your query quickly. We are aware of an intermittent fault with the ‘Contact Us’ form, which may result in you completing it twice. We are working on a fix and apologise for the inconvenience."
I have already done this stage and the missing PM should have been the response to that.
Mike.

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Thanks Dave.

So does that mean if I tell Vodafone my mobile number is 07xxx xxxxx, they are generally unable to see the online account(s) and associated usernames/details for such online account(s)? (But this is something the Tech team can do, albeit it taking a while?)

I'm not an expert on internet coding, software or telecoms or how they should be working as one process together etc, but it does sound like there's a degree of delinkage between a customer's underlying airtime account/mobile number and the online interface. At least when the customer service team wants to look at an account.

I do think though, with all this deleting and reregistering accounts, which is an often suggested solution by Vodafone, that customers should be warned to use exactly the same login details for the newly registered account. Otherwise such solution is flawed.

Re: Online account administrator hasn't approved your online coda one account?

Hi guys,

cineriv - If you followed the instructions on the original PM on how to email us, then any response would be by email, not PM, as we cannot handle queries via Private Message. If you have emailed in with the correct code then the email will be in our queue and we'll be back in touch as soon as possible.

As the only PM we send is the one instructing how to contact us, this is why we assumed this was the one you did not receive.

------------------------------

Horatio_Nelson - There is no specific requirement to use the same username and password when re-registering for My Account, so you are able to select a different one if you wish.

If you respond to the PM I sent, then we'll look to get this sorted for you as quickly as possible.

Re: account not authorised

Hi glenner75 and anne_sole

Thank you for your posts and a very warm welcome to the eForum.:smileyhappy:

It sounds as though there may be an account already registered which is why you are being told it needs to be approved by your administrator, so we can locate this and resolve your query please follow the Private Message I have sent to each of you and we will be in touch as soon as we can.

You can find your PM inbox here.

Many Thanks
