Outstanding Bill

Hey,

 

I had an outstanding payment simply because I didn't have the money in my account when Vodafone tried to take it out (£45). I paid the outstanding bill through the Vodafone website via debit card a few days after, but now (a few weeks later) the outstanding bill is appearing in my new bill, which is due on the 7th (four days from now), so it's stating that my payment for this month is £90.

 

Will I actually be charged £90 or is it normal for outstanding bills to show in the new bill page?

Hiya, it really depends on when the last bill was produced and when the payment was made, perhaps they have overlapped, if you call the customer service team ask them to confirm your current overall account balance so you can be certain that the payment has been received ok, if it has you will only be direct debited the lower amount

Thanks for your post. It really should have been confirmed by now. I'm not sure if it's a glitch/mistake on the website. When I go to the "Pay bill" page it shows 'Previous Bills' as £0.00 and this month's bill as £0.00, then shows this month's bill as £90 on the "view my bills" page, which makes no sense.

I'm very confused, but really don't want to have to go through the hassle/cost of ringing them to sort it.

I would check payment had came off your bank or credit card, and you could also confirm by sending an email, via the contact us part of the vodafone website, remember to confirm as many of your details as possible so you get a quick reply, alternatively if you are near a Vodafone store in the next few days they can check your account balance for you also
