I am off to Cyprus next month, I phoned Vodafone CS and they said that it was now enabled on my account, could I get a Mod to confirm this for me ?, the last thing I want is to come home to a hefty bill
Is there even a way to see if its enabled on my account by going to "My Account" ?

I don't think you've got anything to worry about as I have Vodafone Passport on my own account but am unable to see it in my price plan summary.
