Poor customer service - would like to leave.

I don't know if anyone here can help as the 191 service has been utterly useless.

For the past couple of months I have not been able to send or recive mms messages from my iPhone 4. The first time it happened I thought nothing of it as I may have been in a bad service area, untill the end of last month when I tried to send one in a perfect signal area. I spoke to someone who sorted this for me and also pointed out the system had taken twice my bill the month before and I woud not have to pay my next bill as I was in credit.

The system then took my next bill, after a number of phone calls being put on hold they agreed to credit the balance back to my bank and would take 5 working days. The 5th working day nothing had arrived I phones was asked to phone in an hour as the system was not working. I phoned straight back to get an operator who said they have had no system problems, I questioned why I do not have my wrongfully taken money, they then inform me it can take 8-10 working day, frustrated I asked to speak to a manager about the poor service and wrong information, I was told they would call back in 24h which I accepted. Waited over the 24h for my call and had revived nothing. I have phoned today to talk to a manager who was totally useless now telling me it can take 7-10 working days..... Which is it?? I am not best pleased with the service I have received and would like to leave without paying any ETF due to vf breaking contract in 2 points:
- Not receiving service as promised as part of my contract (vf fault due to an update)
- vf unlawfully takeing more money from my bank account than agreed.

May I point out all communication I have had (apart from the first call) was from a none english call centre. The english call enter I used was most helpful and I would more than happy speak to this centre again but refuse to use the 191 service as they cannot provide the correct information and do not help at all.

I am considering taking legal advise on the above as they seem to have broken contract twice but will not offer to help me, any advise anyone?

Thanks all.
Phill

Re: Poor customer service - would like to leave.

join the queue I am currently pursuing legal action, service from 191 advisors and managers is diabolical and involves pushing from pillar to post, never speaking to same person and constantly moving timescales, refusal to give DD numbers for a "real" person and avoidance and non-compliance with their timescales. Happy to join with you and others to continue legal action.

There must be something "In The Air Tonight" as it seems that "Against All Odds" a lot of people are wanting to "Dance Into The Light" and part ways with Vodafone.

Have Vodafone showed there "True Colours"?

It seems to be that with 191, its a case of "Thats Just The Way It Is"!

After reading not "Both Sides of The Story" but only one, there doesn't seem to be "A Groovy Kind of Love" for Vodafone. I know they say that "You Can't Hurry Love" but still.

Is it worth spending "Another Day In Paradise" or waiting "One More Night" or is it time to part ways from Vodafone and lead "Separate Lives"?

Never realised I knew so many Phil Collins songs.

If your going to leave, "The Least You Can Do" Vodafone said was to ask for your PAC Code, or you'll be saying nooo, "Don't Lose My Number".

Maybe this is "The Wake Up Call" Vodafone need. Or maybe they'll be "Two Worlds Away".

With 191, "No Matter Who" you speak to, you end up thinking that was so bad that  "I Cannot Believe It's True", but "Somewhere" along the line you'll realise there is "No Way Out" of your contract. You could try calling again, but you'll just be told "Why Can't It Wait Till Morning"

"Do You Remember?" the good old days?

It's getting to the stage where "I Don't Care Anymore".

Re: Poor customer service - would like to leave.

Looking at it now after i have cooled my head (not backing down though) It is quite funny as when i told the Non UK call center manager i was going to look into taking legal action she just shrugged it off as though i was using it as an empty threat...... VF need to understand i do not give empty threats, i will be following this up one way or another.

Uh oh!

ccare.webmails have just given me some very good news for me, regards my MMS facility they where supposed to reinstate weeks ago.

Bad news on the Vodafone front :smileyvery-happy: as they really have broken contract.

Does that mean you can leave for free?

I was weeks with Vodafone trying to sort out MMS problems such as not being able to either send or receive any.

Ended up finding the answer elsewhere. Had to have 3G & mobile internet activated and then send or receive any MMS's.

To get to that point in time I wasted literally days and days going back and forth and getting nowhere with Vodafone. I wasn't the only one too. There are numerous posts on it in the forum.

Re: Poor customer service - would like to leave.

Email service still not helping for clarity of what is going on with my account, no response from anyone here, will be phoning again tomorrow in hope I get English and some answers, if not a letter will be going as high up as I can find and I will be looking at legal advise. What vf don't realise is I have a week off work and I'm more than happy using it to get this sorted my contract cancelled with no fee...

Re: Poor customer service - would like to leave.

Hi PhillCollins,

I'm sorry to hear you didn't receive this picture message. Can you confirm you're unable to receive all MMS or if it's just from this number? Also have you had any amendments to your tariff since you last spoke to my team and we got this fixed? I've sent a fresh set of instructions over to you via Private Message in case you don't have the one sent previously. If this isn't a one off, you're welcome to approach us directly once again.

Cheers, Ben
