Price Plan Downgrade

Hi,

I need to find out what options I have available re lowering my monthly tariff costs as its looks like I am going to be either made redundant or have my hours severely lowered, the problem is I only upgraded about 6 months ago.

Can anybody please help?

Regards

Ryan

Re: Price Plan Downgrade

Hi Ryan

Sorry to hear about your situation, if you are on a Your Plan price price plan, which you will be and are still in commitment, you can't lower it until your agreement is over.

So your options are....

1. Check if you have any extra's on your account, as some of these can be removed if needed e.g. picture message packs, etc

2. Consider finding someone who is happy to take on the contract and do a transfer of ownership

3. If you cannot pay at a particular point then do speak to the Credit Teams, who can help with payment plans etc - usually this would be when you had a bill which was overdue etc

Good luck

Hello,

I got an iPhone 4 16gb on the £35 per month tariff fo 24 months last September from Phones 4u. It was repeatedly stressed to me that after 9 months on contract I would be able to downgrade to the 300-minute £30 tariff. Now I'm looking into it and I see that might not be the case, so that would be the case of misseling. Could a vodafone team member please please assist me with that? Can we see if my tariff is a new or legacy one and whether I am elegible for a downgrade.

Thanking you very much, I remain.

If you only got your contract last September, you will definitely be on a YPL (Your Plan) tariff which cannot be downgraded.

If you would like to check, just log onto your online account and you will see your tariff and price plan on the heading of your latest bill.

If you feel that your have been misssold your contract, you will need to take this up with Phones 4U.  The salesperson should have been fully aware that contracts cannot be downgraded.
