I have lost my mobile phone and need the proof of purchase with the imei number for my insurance to process my claim. I asked for this in a email with took over 24 hours for vodafone to reply? In this email I was then asked for the imei number make and model of the handset and my name??????? Does vodafone not have all these details on record considering I have been a customer now for eight years???? and why would I ask vodafone for my imei number if I already new it?? Will I now have to wait another 24hrs for a reply email asking more questions?? When I rang the customer service line to ask if I could deal with it over the phone they told me I had to email my query! Not great when it can take up until 48hrs to receive a reply! Not the best customer service vodafone.

To be honest with you depending on when the phone was purchased and through which channel we may not have the full order details which is why these details were requested.
