What price range are you looking at for your new phone?
The SE Xperia handsets are well specced but SE don't seem too clever with their Android updates , This is getting better though.
Other phones that would be equivelant to the iPhone:
You would be looking at the Samsung Galaxy S II or the HTC Sensation Both are fantastic phones, well made and easy to use!

The SE phone tend to be less popular and hence there isn't such a large comunnity around for support. Both the Samsung and HTC are extremely popular phones (and very good, i've used them both!) and hence have a large user community around them.
