Ok, so I called 191, got told they couldn't see any record of a return, got given a number for the online orders team.
Rang the online orders team, again no record of the return but the guy offered to check with the returns warehouse & send me an email. Asked about postage refund, he couldn't do that & checked then said he'd pass me through to someone who might be able to help.
Got passed back to standard customer services. Helpful guy but again no record of the return & couldn't even find my original order to get the IMEI from even though I gave him the order number.
No-one has any knowledge of the eforum team nor how to get hold of anyone related to it. All my emails seem to be answered with vague questions even when I specifically asked to be contacted by Holly (although I've no idea just how many people have access to that email address so they probably don't even know her) They asked for security details, I'm not going to confirm that over email so they won't do anything for me & they will probably only have the same issues as above.
Can someone please sort this out, I've wasted far too much time on this now, I should have cancelled my contract when I first spoke to Holly & I had the chance but now it looks like I'm stuck for another 15months - Hooray! (for the avoidance of doubt that "Hooray!" was sarcasm born out of sheer frustration)
Does Vodafone think this is reasonable? A customer with a faulty handset waits weeks for a replacement even though I know for a fact handsets were being sent out to other customers while I was 'waiting for stock' ? I then get passed around or stonewalled when trying to confirm the £400 phone I sent back to you, that was signed for 2 weeks ago has been received & therefore I won't get £400 added to my bill when you deny all knowledge of it.
Someone please sort this out, now.

Well, another day, another day the thread is ignored. Guess I'm just going to have to bump it every hour until someone takes notice?
No contact from my calls last weeks either, how hard is it to check something is received when I give you the tracking number?
Apologies to anyone else on the forum who probably doesn't want to see this thread constantly but until someone from Vodafone actually contacts me like I've been requesting for far too long then its going to hang around.
Vodafone please note - Your customer service in this regard is unacceptable, you cannot do anything for me including:
- Telling me if my faulty phone is returned over TWO WEEKS after it has been signed for by yourselves.
- Telling me if my postage refund will happen.
- Contact anyone from the eforum for me.
- Pass my details to anyone who can deal with this promptly.
- Find my initial order even after I give them the order number confirmed in two separate emails from you.
If I can cancel the contract with no penalties then I wish to do that. If not then I expect some sort of recompense for this appalling service.

Hi Rob_nord17
I'm sorry we haven't responded to your query, but there seemed to be an issue with the email chain.
I've now resolved this and replied via the email system with an update for you. If you can kindly respond to my email, we'll be able to move forward with this query.
Regards
Trev

Hi Trev,
Thanks for your email. To confirm: I've had a reply confirming the receipt of the handset & credit to my account.

Just read all through this......what a faff!!
Rob, I feel sorry for you mate, fingers crossed your new H/Set is better and remains that way.....
I must admit, the VF guys on here seem 100% better than the VF guys on the other end of the phone.....

Oh my stars - just how bad is customer service going to get before someone sits up and takes notice - Rob, you have my heartfelt sympathies - I have been with vodafone over 10 years now, and over the years have had a few problems, once having to resort to contacting head office, which sorted it out very quickly, I might add (for anyone else experiencing probs!). I wish I had found, and checked this forum before agreeing to upgrade with Vodafone again, as, 3 weeks into my new contract, I too have run into problems (I've posted elsewhere, so won't repeat). I'm now awaiting delivery of a 3rd handset, but was alarmed to read earlier on about handsets being reconditioned, and not new.
Can someone please confirm as soon as possible that the replacement handsets I am being sent are new ones, and not reconditioned?????
Many thanks
Jo
