Returns Service

I have never been more frustrated with a call centre in my life.

I upgraded my phone on Monday and then cancelled the upgrade and told to refuse delivery to confirm this.

I was fine with this until an email was sent to me saying phone was out of stock and had a 2-4 week wait so I called up and advised them of this and to cancel the upgrade and no need to send me a phone.

 

This was all agreed and my contract reverted back to previous details. However, I received a parcel this morning for the phone and signed for it in error as didnt realise Vodafone were going to send a phone after previous email (I receive packages all the time in my line of work and if I'd known this was being sent, I would have refused it).

 

In any case, I spent 40 mins on the phone being bounced from rep to rep (im sure within the same dept) who couldnt help me at all with this. The one time I got through to the returns dept, it was a dead line and after hanging on for 5 minutes, I had to hang up.  I have never encountered such terrible customer service before. I was given conflicting information and asked to verify my information for every transfer and every time a rep picked up.

 

Do Vodafone not want the phone back???? I have now left them a message saying I do not wish to call anymore, I have already advised them of this issue and if they wish to pick up the parcel, it will be at my house waiting for them.

 

I left Vodafone once before due to shockingly bad customer service and looks like im going to have to leave again.

Thanks for your post here. I’m sorry to hear of your experiences with our customer care team. I appreciate how frustrating this must be for you.
