Hi guys.
Long time customer, first time poster. ![]()
Very happy at the moment, but realised it was upgrade time, and looking on the vodafone website the best deal for a Samsung Galaxy S2 is £199 for the phone and then £26 per month (100mins, 500sms, 250mb).
If I go to best-mobile-contracts.co.uk I can get the same phone for free and then £31 per month (600mins, 3000sms, 500mb) through buymobiles.net still on vodafone.
Have I missed something, as I really dont want to move, but it would be a fair saving if I did.

When thinking of leaving, i would have a look on the message board and look at the customer services aspect of things. It is poor, poor beyond belief.
If you are to buy a phone from a third party, and not through vodafone direct you will have to explain and explain and explain why you have done that to a poor customer service team.
However, on the flip side, im sure we will find issues with every mobile phone company.
I myself am tempted to leave vodafone, but shop around, find quotes from other companies and play them off against each other. Maybe vodafone can come down some what on the handset price if they are to realise you are willing to leave for a rival!

If you have seen a deal elsewhere why not give Vodafone a chance to match or even better it!
I would suggest checking out @vodafoneukdeals on twitter. They are a small team dedicated to upgrades and new connections.
As i mentioned they are a small team and in high demand so they may not respond immediatly, but they will get in touch!

I wouldn't bother trying to get them to price match....someone i work with did this only to receive a letter afterwards telling them that they couldnt offer what they had already agreed to on contract, AND they wouldnt budge meaning he had to waste time cancelling the contract and sending the phone back to then sign up with another company.
