Re: Sim only upgrade to handset deal

Your ability to upgrade will depend on how long the contract was for.

If you took a 12 month contract you wont be able to upgrade until near the end of the 12 months and therefore you would not be given the option online.

All new contracts have a 7 working day cooling off period starting from the day after you recieve your SIM.

I would guess you will still be in your coolig off period so you can head down to your local Vodafone store and ask for the contract to be changed to a more suitable one that includes a new handset for you.

Re: Sim only upgrade to handset deal

sorry i forgot to say this is a 30 day sim only deal, which is why i thought it would be simple enough to upgrade to a handset

my number is being ported today so i really need to keep it now, albeit it on a falling apart phone lol

spoke to carphonewarehouse who checked and said i could upgrade with them so i dont see why i cant directly with  VF

i would rather do the upgrade with VF too as their deals are better for the handset i want

Hi bbm70,

In order to upgrade with Vodafone, you need t have been with us for a minimum of three months, which is why you aren't able to arrange the upgrade online.

As Nabs mentioned, though, you have a seven day cooling off period, so we can look to swap the SIM Only deal for a handset deal instead. Just reply back to my email and we can look to sort that if you'd like.:smileyhappy:
