Hi. I'm a O2 customer wanting to move to Vodafone.
I've looking at this plan: "365 days, 300 minutes , unlimited texts , 500 MB mobile internet data". I had a quick look at the T&Cs and I can't see any indication of whether or not tethering is permitted on this plan.
Anyone knows?
Cheers.

Hi kgx,
Tethering is permitted on the Vodafone network and any data used will be taken out of your monthly allowance.
If you want more allowance you can add an additional web pack to give you more usage

Hi,
Can anyone give me advice please?
I am a pay monthly vodafone customer with iPhone 3gs 900 mins ult text and 500mb data.
I have an ipad, can I tether it for free and use some of the data? I heard some tariffs allow and some don't? Is this right?
Judging by the responses here it looks like I can just do it for free but wanted to make sure?
Many thanks
Neil

I took on this pay monthly tariff only a month ago so it must be a new (after june 2011) tariff??

Hi
I'm debating signing up for your RED sim only £20.50 (unlimited mins, unlimited txts, 1gb data) deal to use on my iphone (not purchased from vodafone).
Can you confirm if I can use tethering (up to the 1gb level) on this contract?
tks

Thanks I actually applied for one yesterday but got a rejection back quoting I didn't meet your credit criteria. Can you provide any further details?
i actually sign up for one for my wife about a month ago and didn't have any issues, so just wondering if I entered something incorrectly.
tks

Hi axw00u,
Each credit check would be run from scratch, but if you took the line for your wife then this may be down to the number of lines you are able to have at this time. If your wife's line was a new line, for example, then it can take a few months for additional lines to be available.
I cannot guarantee we can see why this was declined, but we'd need to take a look at the account to see what information we can get for you, so I'll pop you a PM.
You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.
