I have just arrived in South Africa and my phone is trying to connect to a network here but is unable to find one.
Could you please advise.

Firstly, a very warm welcome to the eForum Family, it's always great to see new faces on here .
Before you left the UK, did you ensure that there were no Roaming Restrictions on your account? Assuming there aren't, then it could possibly be down to a network issue where you are at the moment. Do you know anyone else who's able to pick up signal at all?
I'd recommend attempting to manually connect to a network (Vodacom is the preferred network), details of how to do this can be found in our Help Centre, just select the model of phone and then click Network. If that doesn't work, then try your SIM in another device to see if the issue lies with your phone or SIM card.
