I have recently change my mobile number due to nuisance calls, ever since i have been unable to access my acount.
I called the Vodafone helpline, who told me i need to register the new number with a new account??
I dont want a different account, i want my old account to be linked straight to this number, something I would have thought Vodafone would do as a matter of common practice under such circumstance, my Wife on O2, did this some while back and had no issue whatsoever, she is still able to log into her account and her new number is shown, but oh no, not little me on Vodafone.
I have so say, logged into my account, but it says "
Thanks for registering your email address with My account.
Why not register your mobile number too? "
I enter my new number and....."
Sorry - we're unable to process your request right now. It won't take us long to fix this issue. Please try again later."
If i enter my old number i get the same registration error above, so as expected i cannot log in with my old number, but why it will not allow me to do this with my new number, i dont know.
Could someone one please try and sort this one out, cheers guys.

Thanks for your post. I completely understand your point. Unfortunately the only way to rectify this is as previously advised, to delete your existing online profile with the old number and re-register with a new one. Once a phone number has been cancelled which essentially has happened in this case with a number change the My Account profile is deleted along with it.
To register your new number with My Account we need to clear out any old profiles, essentially removing the My Account profile altogether. Requested service is already avaliable on the number
This is getting very annoying now, still unable to log into my account fully, and i am also unable to use BTopenzone as i have no account to use.
