Hi, from the 28th of April I was able to upgrade my Vodafone contract. Therefore I have been looking around and found a phone deal on the mobile phones direct website (where I fist joined Vodafone) which quite interested me, but when I say im upgrading and not joining as a new customer the price goes up by around £10 a month. Why are current customers expexted to pay more for pretty much the same contract than new customers? I would gladly carry on with voda for another 2 years but I don't see why I should have to pay more as a current customer willing to upgrade.

Mobile Phones direct are not Vodafone,
they are simply a re-seller who buy blocks of contracts from voda and sell them on, they will also be sourcing their handsets from the manufacturer rather than from voda
They are free to set their own pricing structure based on what they have to pay and I guess they get a better rate on new contracts than upgrades
A mod will be contacting you sometime in the next 24 hrs to discuss upgrades through voda
