Hi

I have logged on to my account today to have a look at phones, as my upgrade day as of a few weeks ago was March 4th, However as of today it has altered to July 22nd.

I currently have an experia X10 mini that I am experiencing major problems with, screen freezing/turning black, apps freezing, being unable to answer calls text as touch screen not picking up me touching it etc.

Is there anyway I would be able to upgrade before July 22nd? I have been a vodafone customer for over 10 years in total and have never had nay problems/issues with there service. however I am considering leaving vodafone as I need a reliable phone for both personal and work use.

Thanks but this does not answer my question in full!

I understand that the upgrade times have now changed but I am experiencing problems with my current hand set and was hoping to upgrade on march 4th as this was the date I was told when previously enquiring about upgrading and was the date my online account was telling me I could upgrade from up until when I checked today.

Is there anyway I can up grade before July 22nd, or do I have to hope my current handset holds out until then?

Look at the last line of Tom's post in that thread :-

"We will honour upgrades for those customers that were notified of their upgrade date ahead of any changes that we have made."

It certainly looks to me as though you have been notified of your upgrade date ahead of the aforementioned changes. Perhaps one of the Tech Team could sort this out for you ??

Hi All,

If you are having problems with your handset and they are not self infliceted, then as long as it is not an iphone, you should be covered under the warranty of the device to get it fixed and back in a working state.

I personally feel early upgrades (especailly the 6 month one that has recently been withdrawn) are a bad thing unless you have lots of spare cash to throw at 'not as competitive' tarrifs or handsets that you would get as a new customer or one out of contract.

Hannah - what handset do you have? what is up with it? you should be able to get it fixed for free unless you have dropped it in liquid, stood on it, or cracked the screen.
