hi there,

I'm upgrading my handset with a micro-sim using Carphone Warehouse online, is the upgrade connection done automatically or do I need to register/activate it with Vodafone online etc after recieving it...???

If it's automatic does anyone know how long it takes to get connected??

Hi Tommo82,

As a rule a SIM will normally sent out not activated however Carphone Warehouse’s policy may be different to ours.

If it is not active and you already have an online account with us then you can activate this through your online account using this page.

Alternatively it can also be activated by a Vodafone Store or Customer Services.

Once requested it will normally take no longer than 24 hours to activate.
