Upgrade

I took out an 18 month contract in August 2010, not 100% sure on the date.  Anyhoo, when I've logged on previously i have had March, July and now August as dates when I am eligible for an upgrade!  Why are the dates changing and why can't i get my upgrade?  If there has been changes since I have been within my contract surely these changes cannot affect me given that i was advised, over the phone, that i would be able to upgrade at the end of my contract!  Can anyone explain?

The dates that are changing are not the end dates of your contract

 

Until the start of the year voda offered as a special deal the ability to upgrade 190 days before the end of the contract (with the 190 days added to the new premium priced contract)

They have since reduced this to 90 and then 50 days,

 

Sounds like you took an early upgrade to a 24 month contract last time at around 50 days prior to expiry

Thanks! 

This was/is my first contract with Vodafone so I didn't take an early upgrade last time round.  You would think they would have to honor what ever level of service they advised when taking the contract.......shocking behavior!

 

My 18 months would have been up February/March time so i am really just not sure what they are playing at, think i will give them a call, although the Customer Service people are not the most helpful on the planet.

One of the team should be PMing you today,

they tend to offer better service than the 191 bunch and will be able to look into your acount details
