Hi all,
I am due an upgrade on my phone as I have less than 70 days remaining on my contract. However, I am a bit confused...can I upgrade my phone without starting a new contract? I just want a new device, not a new contract.
Please help, thanks!

Hi xbabyabyx
Unfortunately no. The handsets are given out as a reward for signing up for a new contract. The whole point is that Voda will recoup the hundreds of pounds they have spent on the device by ensuring that you will be their customer for a guarranteed period. You will probably be able to stay on the same priceplan you already have you will just be extending the amount of time you stay with the company. It wouldn't be great business sense if they just gave you a phone for nothing.

If you want a new phone without a new contract your best bet would be to buy a SIM-free handset.
Whilst Vodafone may have their faults (as do all mobile service providers) I am glad to remain their customer.
Long may our relationship remain mutually beneficial.
