As you will see from my post the other day the Vodafone website said I was due my upgrade on the 19th of January 2012 and when I just went on the Vodafone website to order the upgrade it is now saying I can't do so until the 28th of April!
Can anybody shed some light into why this is saying this and get me my upgrade? I'm really annoyed and if I don't get it I will be cancelling my contract when the contract runs out.

My account is eligble for an early upgrade, on the 26th January which i've just called your customer services team regarding to talk through the prices as was looking to get the iPhone 4S 16Gb White on the same contract i'm on.
Despite showing online this is available next week, i've now been told by Customer Services that Vodafone are withdrawing this and i can't do it next week?
No communication has come out to me regarding this and despite your advisor saying that its being stopped it still shows online.
I've logged a complaint with Customer Services and it may well result in terminating my contract early due to the advisor not even understanding the areas of complaint.
Awaiting a call (if it comes)

I too have noticed this problem and am annoyed as I have been looking forward to upgrading for a while now.
I sincerley hope that this is not some sneaky way of trying to extend my contract with out my knowledge.
I hope that this is rectified as soon as possible.
I was previously told that you can only upgrade early online, is this true or can me and the OP call up and get our upgrades plus an apology from Vodafone for them messing up the details in our accounts?!

I have had exactly the same problem I have been checking my phone status for months and it said I was eligible for an early upgrade today (19th January 2012) I have just went on to proceed with the upgrade and it is saying that I cannot upgrade until 28th April 2012, my current phone is on its last legs so I was pretty much reliant on this upgrade please rectify this and get back in touch with me .....email.. my daughters phone has given up the go so ive been checking online since November with it saying early upgrade from the 19Th Jan 2012
I went online today and now its saying 28th April 2012,i phoned CS and got someone who didnt understand
please can someone enlighten me on this
if its the case its April i will go and take a new contract out today with someone else as ive been waiting to do this upgrade

For a month or so now, my online account has been telling me I am due an early upgrade on my number on 14 January, which I was REALLY grateful of since my Blackberry is totally out of use and I've been using a rather retro Nokia in the time being. But... I've logged in this morning to go ahead with my early upgrade online, and am now told I cannot upgrade my number until 23 April. Why the change? I really need to be using a better phone than this wee Nokia number, and can't wait another three months to upgrade! Is there anyway vodafone can honour the original date of 14 January for me since I wasn't aware the early upgrade was a time limited offer!!

With my current samsung phone suddendly freezing and turning its self off and on and i have been eagerly waiting to take advantage of an early upgrade. I was given the date at the end of 2011 of 19th Jan 2012 to upgrade early. Great!
But then today 19th Jan when i logged on to upgrade the date has suddenly conveniently changed to the later date of 28th april 2012. I even checked last night and the original date of the 19th Jan was still displayed on my screen.
I am not happy with this at all after been given an earlier date than i now have. I expect Vodafone to stick to their words and grant an upgrade from the original date of 19th Jan and not the 28th April.
I then looked on line and it says you can upgrade from 90days however an earlier upgrade of 190says is avaliable but then when i click the link the date of the 28th april still appears. Im guessing the 19th Jan is the 190days early as its exactly 100days before the 28th april assuming this is the 90days early.
Please can anyone shed some light on my confusion as i am currently not happy at all

the thing i find funny is that for the upgraded phone they wanted £130.00 yet to cancel the contract it is £130.00 no brainer in my eyes!! will be popping along to orange on saturday me thinks - whose with me!!!
looks like a massive ###### up on vodafones behalf and no answers are given?!

cheers to vodafone for giving a bit of warning to the upgrade changes - now i'm stuck using a rank nokia 'til april - if I'd known they were changing the upgrade rules I'd have done it weeks ago.
totally considering cancelling the contract and getting a new one, this is a farce!

yep im the same 19th jan now put back to 28th april. not impressed at all!
just read a message posted by vodafone on here that the 190 day upgrade is no longer available! well they should honour it for all those already given this offer and its still being advertised this morning. i too will not be renewing my contract asap as not happy! been with vodafone ever since i got my first phone aged 11 thats 11 years now and not how i like to be repaid.. not even given any answers!

The message from Vodafone about their change in business policy was posted at 10:14am this morning. All these people who were due to be upgraded today had the option to do it from midnight so it seems very unfair that we were not made aware of the change in policy BEFORE Vodafone decided to actually carry it out!! I feel that those due for upgrade today should still be given the opportunity to upgrade their account since the proper notification was not given.

I am angered by the fact that Vodafone have decided to change their business policy on providing early upgrades from 19 January 2012 but only actually notified customers of this at 10:14 this morning via a posting on the EForum. I have been eagerly waiting to upgrade my phone since way before Christmas, particularly because I lost my HTC phone so just bought a cheap phone to get me through until January! I am now being told that I am stuck with this rubbish phone until 28 April 2012. This is just not acceptable and I really feel like just cancelling my contract with Vodafone and going with another network! Anyone else agree?

Would of been nice to have some warning over this
ive been waiting to get my daughter a new phone now its end of April
I will go to town today and take a new contract with ANOTHER NETWORK that will not treat its customers as Vodafone do
and when my other family contracts are up i will go to another network with there numbers
i feel this is a big mistake on Vodafones part if we were warned people could of made other arrangment
not just change it over night

Want vodafone to now tell me how much I'd need to pay to end my contract - going to take out a new one, it's shocking they didn't give better warning of this massive change, all they've done is write about it on the eforum. i've been pretty happy with vodafone until this, perhaps if they'd helped me more when i asked about blackberry repair, i'd not mind so much....

It's absurd that not one single member of the Vodafone EForum Team have posted a response to any of these messages about customers being unhappy about the withdrawal of the early upgrade option! Great customer service guys!
