I upgraded my current handset to the Samsung Galaxy S on 20/12/11 and also increased my priceplan from £25 to £31 per month in order to get a new handset A.S.A.P as my current phone is hardly working, As soon as I ordered I received an email to say the handset was now out of stock, I have emailed to find out when I can expect my phone without much success. Vodafone have even started to charge me my new contract package of £31 per month for my non existent phone (so now paying out just for the fun of it). I have been a Vodafone customer for as long as I can remember and am really disappointed with the poor customer service I have received so far!!! From customer service on the phone telling me I must only deal with this online as they cannot help me?????

I am in the same situation as you. Upgrade online four days later i got a email saying phone is now out of stock. Vodafone are quick enough to take our money, but try to get something from them.

Me too, but I upgraded over the phone and was told that the handset was in stock only to get a text the next day to say there was insufficient stock. I only stayed with Vodafone because they offered me a discount, wish I hadn't bothered. I will probably just ring and cancel it as the 7 day cooling off period doesn't start till you receive the handset.

I understand that it is very frustrating when you can upgrade and we haven't got the stock to get it straight out to you.

When ordering an upgrade the price plan will change straight away and this is mentioned online when placing the order.

I can assure you as soon as we get stock the phones are sent out. When this is the case for your order you will get an email confirming the dispatch of the phone.

Well i hope your happy with your reply, as for me im still waiting for something more than we will get to you when we can be bothered.

And if the mods read this, yes i am complaining on other people's post, and i wouldn't have to if instead of ignoring me and my problem you would try to help me.
