Upgrades

Has anyone else noticed the upgrade date changing again. I could have an advance upgrade back in January which was due a day after Vodafone decided to change their policy, so then the upgraded date changed to April. I have now just looked on my account and it now says June! Why does it keep changing all the time. I really need a new phone as the one i am using is on its last legs. How do i not know that when it gets to June i wont be able to upgrade then!

I have also noticed this! Again this is poor show from Vodafone not keeping their customers up to date with latest changes.

Re: Upgrades

Hi nc/mark,

The upgrade dates were changed back in february. Please see the announcement here

If you are in desperate need of a new handset then the upgrade dates will be honoured however you may incur the old upgrade charges and any remianing months will be added to the end of your new contract.

Re: Upgrades

I have also found that my upgrade dates keep changing. First it was Jan 2012 then March, then I was told April by vodafone customer services on phone and now it has changed to the end of May.

The attitude of vodafone has been really poor so I have decided to settle the remaining balance on my account and take out a new contract with another provider.

It is regrettable that such a large company feels able to move the goal posts for its customers without acknowledging the frustration of being told conflicting information.

Seems they dont value my custom enough to honour their earlier promises. I for one will be voting with my feet.

Re: Upgrades

hi thanks for your reply. If i do want to get the old dates honured for an upgrade do i just need to ring customer service? Also will my partner be abl e to do the same as his upgrade is due the same time as mine? (We took the contracts out at the same time)

Re: Upgrades

nc,

Best thing to do is contact the @vodafoneukdeals twitter team. They specialise in upgrades so they would be the best to sort you out! For info on how to contact them head over here and follow the instructions. They are a small and very popular team so they may not reply straight away, stick around though as one of the team will get back to you as soon as they can.
