Vodafone bill unexpected ly high.

Hello,
I'm not sure who to contact regarding explaining my vodafone bill. I thought I had a 12 month sim only contract where I would get the first 9 months half price (using a code I had about a month ago). Considering my bill is only £20.50 (before even applying the half price discount) I'm wondering where £35.48 is coming from?
Thanks in advance,
Pete

I would suggest, signing up for an online account, and the bill will break this down for you, remember if this is your first bill since a change to your account, the bill may be over a non standard time period e.g your line rental may be covering 6 weeks or whatever, this will be noted beside it.
Or also remember your allowances may be proportionate to when you changed and may have some call charges.
At the end of the day your online account will provide a breakdown and you can take it from there, you can sign up from the front page of the web site.
Good luck

Thanks for your help, I've already signed up for online billing. Just didn't think the figures were adding up.

Many Thanks,

Perfect, you can see that it is your line rental 6th April to 2nd June, i.e. 7 weeks ish, and so its your monthly line rental x 1.75 months, it happens when you change / upgrade / take out an additoinal connection part way through a billing cycle, it corrects the part covered from between when you request it to your billing date and then charges you a month in advance, each subsequent bill will be fine, its just your first bill , in an ideal world it would be pointed out to you when you changed your account.

Right, but 1.75 x 10.25 is a far stretch from the 30 quid mark? Unless there's a bill from my previous contract?
Sorry if I'm just being stupid, and thanks for taking the time to explain.
Cheers,
Pete

This sounds like the £20.50 price plan which has a discount to £10.25 per month, it sounds like the half price part isn't kicking in, it sounds like its £20.50 one at one and three quarter months, when it should be half that

Ah right, yeah that makes a lot more sense. So I should probably try contact them directly then? Don't fancy phoning as the last time I was on for 2 hours (approx). Might try give them an e-mail or something.
Thanks very much for your help bertyb, it's been much appreciated.
Cheers,
Pete

yes probably best to email them, if you don't fancy it, there used to be £20.50 price plans which were half price, OR you are simply placed on the wrong price plan.
