Vodafone changing billing & direct debits whenever they want! Cancellation I feel!

I have been onto the phone to Vodafone Customer services 3 times today and 3 times cut off.

The lovely gentlemen this morning (not) then had the cheek to text me to say they have added barring onto website for over 18's.

The 2nd gentleman call Abdul cut me off straight away.

Then the lovely Tasnam cut me off when I asked firstly politely (not so polite the 2nd and 3rd time) to speak to a supervisor.

 

Vodfone have decided to charge me for delivery of an upgraded phone which was I was not advised of.

Then have now told me they are going to taken nearly 2 months line rental upfront (I already pay a month in advance as have been a customer for years). 

Therefore I have sent an email asking them to contact me by 5pm today or the direct debit will be stopped and the contract is cancelled as they changed the terms (as it seems you can change it when you want then so can I).  Also they can arrange to collect the phone from my home when convienent for me.

 

Not happy ex customer!

When you upgrade, your account is reset and you will be charged a pro rate allowance for the month you will have upgraded, plus one months line rental in advance. You will also be given a credit on your bill for your previous contract.

  

This is normal procedure not only with Vodafone, but with all the networks.  The following link from the website will explain your first bill.

 

Why is my first bill higher than expected ?

 

The delivery charge of £4.94 is the standard charge for delivery when ordering through telesales.  Delivery is free when ordering online.

This would be ok if I had a credit which I haven't.

This also does not excuse the non explaination of delivery charge that Iwas not told about they can listen to the call.

Also the 3 people hanging up on me and someone adding site barring to my phone.  Can I have the explanantion for this please!!!

Thanks for your post here. I'm sorry to hear that you have been having trouble with our customer service teams and the fact you were not told about the delivery charge. I appreciate how frustrating this must have been for you. This is however, a standard charge and applies to all upgrades.

 

I'm not sure why the content control bar was added to your phone. I can only imagine that it was some sort of misunderstanding. Have you now had this removed? If not you can find information on how to remove it here:
