Re: Want to cancel contract early and take out a new contract with Vodafone

To cancel your contract early would mean paying off your monthly line rental times the remaining months left of your contract, for example £36 times 10 (months) would mean £360, you can get an exact amount by phoning customer services :smileyhappy:

Re: Want to cancel contract early and take out a new contract with Vodafone

Hi,

3 months later and i have still heard nothing on the whereabouts of my upgrade. Originally i was told 3-4 weeks and this was back in October.   Surely you must have some stock of the Iphone now? I understand that it would have been popular at Christmas, but i was wondering if you would be able to give me a new rough estimate of when i will get my upgrade.  I understand that as it is early i cannot get it through the preordering system, however in a month i can get an early upgrade anyway where i'm sure my price plan may be cheaper than the one currently agreed. If not, i will have to go elsewhere to another company as i need the phone asap.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.

Hi Anaaar,

I have taken a look at this for you and every time that we have attempted to contact you to process the upgrade we have not been able to reach you.

Can I ask when you will be able to take a call so that I can get one of the team to contact you to discuss this further.

Hi Siobhan

Thanks for your post! I’ve sent you an email, all I’d need you to do is to pop me a reply back with the details needed and we’ll be in touch.

I’m not sure what you mean by having your contract “stacked” but we can answer all your upgrade queries over the phone. :smileyhappy:

Let me take this opportunity to show you how Vodafone like to say thank you; take a look at VIP.

Re: Want to cancel contract early and take out a new contract with Vodafone

Hi,

I'm in the same postition. I've a Blackberry 9300 and am very keen to swap to an Iphone. Mainly due to the Blackberry being highy irrirtating to use- the cursor jumps all over the place, the picture quality is very poor and the internet access is pretty much useless. If I can't get transferred to an IPhone contract, how much would it cost me to cancel my BBerry contract?

Thanks,

Lucy

Re: Want to cancel contract early and take out a new contract with Vodafone

Hi There,

I was looking to upgrade my current phone to the Iphone. I was expecting to be offered an early upgrade on the 19th January 2012 but I understand that this has now been withdrawn after speaking with a member of the team the other day.

I understand that I am nownot eligible to upgrade until 30th April but am not sure I can wait this long for a new handset so was wondering what my options would be. I understand that I can terminate my current contract and take out a new contract,  how much would this cost me and are they any alternatives to this as would rather remain with vodafone.

Many Thanks

Re: Want to cancel contract early and take out a new contract with Vodafone

Hi,

Could you email me too? I have a blackberry contract but want to switch to iphone. My blackberry never conncts to the internet and freezes all the time. When I called vodafone to ask them to help me, they were not very friendly and didn't really do anything to help. I've used iphones before and know I'll prefer one.

Thanks!

Re: Want to cancel contract early and take out a new contract with Vodafone

Dear Clever Vodafone Bods,

I'm in a similar(ish) position and really confused as to what my options are! I'm midway into a £30 per month business contract on my blackberry, but I would like to take advantage of the brilliant Galaxy S2 + Tab 10.1 deal which is £57.50 per month (plus one-off cost). More than happy with moving to a more expensive tariff as it's such a good deal BUT it unfortunately wouldn't be worth it if I'd then need to buy myself out of my current contract first. Would there be any other way? i.e to add the new 24 months to the remainder of my current contract (but of course at the higher £57.50 monthly tarrif) ??

I know the team are very busy, would really appreciate some advice tho pleeeease  :smileyhappy:

Thank you in advance
