Wanting to cancel contract

Hello, I wonder if anyone can help - I need to cancel my contract and have been trying to for the last 2 months - all my emails have gone unanswered despite receiving email confirmation that they have recieved it and will respond within 24 hours...yeah right! I have been into the store - who can't help me and advised me to email. I have emailed yet again today.....I'll be shocked if I hear anything back. I have heard of people sending a letter which is registered so they have to acknowledge it.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

This may be of use to you :-

Send your letter Recorded Delivery so that they can't deny receipt.

Re: Wanting to cancel contract

Just to clarify - I thought OFCOM guidelines stated that a PAC should be given within 2 hours of it being requested by a domestic customer since last year? By making the customer write in that adds 3-4 days to that.

A few years back when I requested a PAC from Voda I did it over the phone no probs.

Now I'm concerned as I want to buy out of my iPhone contract and get a PAC number next week. Don't tell me I've got to go back in time and write a bloody letter?!?!?

If you want a PAC, and you just call up and ask for it.... It's only if you want to cancel and disconnect number (or move to pay as you go) you need to request in writing/email...

Re: Wanting to cancel contract

Ahhhh that's terrific - thanks!

It's a shame as I'd love to stick around - Voda have been good on the whole - but the deal I've been offered will save me quite a wedge of money :smileyhappy:

Re: Wanting to cancel contract

Hi Lee,

Thanks for the PM, filled it out and one of your guys rang me earlier. Gave me my PAC pro-actively, which was fab.

Like I say, I'm keeping the iPad/laptops with you guys however I've been offered an iPhone 4S 64GB for £29 on T-Mobiles Full Monty at half price, so can't say no to that :smileyhappy:
