I received a call from 08080996746 unfortunately i couldnt take the call at the time and phoned the number on the recorded message. The person I spole to said they would call me back after 12 pm on 2/04/12. They didn't so I called 191 to enquire why. After a long argument about how the number that called me in the first place couldnt be vodafone he eventually aggreed to check the number and agreed it was a vodafone number and offered to put me through. I then got cut off. Feeling rather peeved I called 191 again to be put through to someone who constantly talked over me , didn't listen to what I was saying and told me what I couldn't do. I am ashamed to say I lost my already strained patience at this point and told her to go away.
What happened to CS? It used to be so friendly and customer orientated. I am led to believe that the original call was from vodafone sales team but after this experience I think I might have to go to O2 despite a long and up to now happy relationship with vodafone. I'm not impressed.

I'm sorry to see that you've not had a good experience with this. Please accept my apologies for this.
We have a list of the numbers we would use when calling out to customers here for reference. As you can see, this call would indeed have been from a member of the sales team. They would be a separate team to the customer services advisor, but if there was a callback arranged then, just like any other team this should have taken place.
