Why can no-one the the Egypt CS ever help me or care?

I sent a letter of complaint tothe Newbury address on 25th but as far heard nothing so phoned 191 to ask if my letter had been recieved or if I need to send it out again.

The person I spoke to said he cannot see anything on his system so I asked if he could contact Newbury and ask if it has been received. He said that they do not have direct numbers for them to contact but can email them. I asked if he would call me back if he got a response, he said he wouldnt as this is outside of his remit.

How the hell is giving a customer information they request outside of his remit? What is the point in emailing Newbury if he had no intention of relaying me the information? Why on earth can Egypt not get on the blower to the complaints team either? Its all so stupid how one department cannot speak to another!

Someone please help before I take this to Otello and let them handle my complaint!

Re: Why can no-one the the Egypt CS ever help me or care?

Hello!

I apologise for being slightly side tracked here, but what exactly is the complaint with regards to? Is this something that the forum can help with through open comms with the other forum memebers or is this something account specific that is needed to be actioned by a complaints department with in Vodafone?

If it is something that other may have the same issue with, and of course you have the time to do so, please feel free to share it so that others on the forum can provide some outside help and support for you.

Hi chappersr100

Whenever a letter is received at our head office a note of this is left on the account which indicates that the letter has been sent.

I would presume that this would be an account specific issue, if so you would like us to assist then please reply back to the email that I have just sent, and let us know what your issue is.

Thanks

Martin

Hi Martin,

Could you advise what email address I should expect your email to from is? I have only received the community mailer notice to say you replied to my thread and nothing for me to reply to. If I get your email I can attach the letter to it so you can forward to your complaints team if you feel it may not be your area to handle.

thanks,

Re: Why can no-one the the Egypt CS ever help me or care?

So when someone says they will email me yet they have not, it is rather annoying. When I reply back saying no email has been received by me, the most curtious thing to do would be to reply back to that message.

All I wish to know is if my complaint letter has been received by Vodafone! No-one at Vodafone ever seems interested in helping me and they make it stupidly difficult to complain. I just want to talk to someone about my grievances who can actually help!

I'm sure the ombudsman would be interested to see how easy it is to get issues resolved at Vodafone.

Hi chappersr100

The email comes from a central secure email system, and it looks like there is a delay on this at the moment.

I have sent you an email and once you receive it please reply back and we can then assist further.

Thanks

Martin
