Worst customer service I have come across

Hi there,

 

First of all, I have had my vodafone contract now for about 18 months, and I have had nothing but trouble, this is my 6th phone they have sent me, the last few didn't even work out of the box!

 

Now I cannot afford to end the contract, I wish I could, I cannot wait to leave vodafone! Now when I checked my online account it said that I can have my early upgrade from the 24th Feb., the 6 month early upgrade, now that's disappeared. I phoned customer service to be passed through 5 different people, because not one of them could understand basic English, for them eventually to say, sorry this upgrade service does not apply to you!!! What the hell is that about!

 

I'm sorry if it sounds like I am just having a bit of a rant, but I am sick to death of Vodafone now. After all this trouble vodafone have not once turned around and offered any sort of consolation or even an apology! 

 

I've had to take days off work to wait for phones to be delivered that didn't until a week later! When they eventually changed my phone for another model they tried to blag me off with a phone that was about 100 years old, my current phone is worth around £250 and I could buy the phone they were offering me off the website for £50 how is that a like for like model?

 

I do hope someone from vodafone reads this and can actually help me out because part of me is tempted to just stop the direct debit and take this matter to court, because so far I have not been sent a working product etc.

 

If anyone does know a way I can get out of this contract please leave a message, the sooner I can leave vodafone the better for me as I can go and get a decent contract and the better for Vodafone because they don't have to put up with my moaning all the time.

Oh i also forgot to mention that when I was sold the contract I have it in writing that it was supposed to be unlimited internet. However as soon as I took it out I found there is in fact only a 500mb limit and have to pay £5 + VAT for every extra 500mb, Vodafone are yet to sort this

I’m sorry that you have not had the best experience with us so far and I can see from your post that there are a few different issues mentioned here.

 

In regards to the exchanged handsets, the warranty of the phone entitles you to a free of charge repair and not an exchange as if we do offer an exchange for your phone it does cost us more money to supply that phone and as a result this will mean that when this does happen it will be offered as a goodwill gesture and may not always be to the same value of the phone which you currently have.

 

In regards to the early upgrade option, unfortunately this has now been removed across the board for all of our customers.

In regards to the unlimited internet bundle this always had a 500MB fair usage policy however, it wasn’t enforced until more recently which was announced publically at the time allowing all those effected to see if there was any disadvantage to them and make changes that were made available at the time.

Hi I'm looking for some help from the web relations team. After being passed round 3 departments last night to discuss my recent upgrade, which I'm not happy with, each of them told me that I had to deal with the other and eventually was told that the office had closed and was told to phone back today! I'm at the stage that I'm now looking at leaving as each of the csr's last night said they could do nothing due to red tape and couldn't put me through to the department they recommended because 'computer says no.'

I have 2 handsets with Vodafone and have been a customer for years but I'm now getting to the stage that I'll be taking my money elsewhere
