Wrong price plan on account

I've signed into my account to find out that I'm being charged more than I have agreed to on my new price plan. The vodafone retentions rang me on Saturday (21/01/11) and offered me a deal on a new upgrade of £20.50 per month, but on the online account it says £26.
Also I haven't receieved any confirmation email for the new price plan.
Tried ringing customer service but there is no option to contact an assistant about it.
Thanks.

This is most probably due to pro rata charging after your upgrade and you have got more than one months billing, which could be around 7 days line rental to your billing date.
When you upgrade, your account will be reset and your first bill will be on a pro rata basis and your will receive a proportion of the months allowance as with the charges to your billing date. As line rental is always charged in advance, Vodafone will have also added one months line rental to to your first bill after upgrading with the pro rata charge making your first bill one month and part of a month.
Your online account will give you the dates for the pro rata period and the extra months line rental and you should also see the line rental credit.
You will probably find your next months charges will be for the agreed monthly charge which you agreed with Vodafone when your upgraded but if these are incorrect, or if you have any further enquiries, the forum or Customer Services will be able to help.
You should receive an email confirmation within the first week after upgrading detailing all that was agreed with Vodafone when you upgraded.

I don't think it is.
It's not the bill that I'm looking at. It's the front page you see once you log in which tells you which price plan you're on. It shows how much I'll pay be paying every month and it's wrong. I understand the added costs when my next bill comes out but this isn't what I am looking at.
Before my upgrade my price plan was £15. After I spoke to the customer assistant on Saturday it has now changed to £26 when it was agreed I would only be paying £20.50 per month. I won't be happy if the bill for my new upgrade comes up to £26 plus the extra costs from the previous contract!
