downgrading price plan

Could one of the mods please help

tried to downgrade my plan today but was told i cannot as my contract started in 2010,my existing contract that i have started many years ago,but no she wouldnt move on the subject and became quite rude!!!!

im not using all my minutes so would like to drop down a step(which i have always been able to in the past)

i am becoming less and less impressed with vf customer services over the last few months.

Dont us long term customers count anymore,i bet if i was a new one she would fall over backwards for me.

Please help as i dont really want to be taking my two lines somewhere else.........but i will if i have too!!!:mansad:

Re: downgrading price plan

Presuming you upgraded your handset in 2010, then you will have been switched to a Your Plan (YPL) Account, esentialy a new contract,

YPL Contracts cannot be downgraded during there term,

Voda will argue that they are giving you a substantial subsidy on the cost of the handset and need to make this money back, by not offering downgrades, they can offer better deals up front,

Note I do not work for voda, My advice comes from experience and my opinions are my own

Re: downgrading price plan

The Customer Services advisor has given you the correct information and advise.  All Your Plan (YPL) contracts are non downgradable.

If you do a search of the forum, you will be able to find some previous threads with the same enquiry.
