Pay monthly services

I'm in a little bit of dilemma, I'm in the last Days of my contract and until I got a text of vodafone the other day saying I'm eligible for an upgrade I was convinced that I was going to write a letter in may to end my contract with vodafone that I have had for well over 5 years.  Now I've seen a phone that has taken my fancy and I'm confused at what to do.  Yes the phone is lovely but the monthly tariff price is the same if not more than I'm on now and the whole reason I was thinking of leaving was to reduce my monthly bill.  Basically what I'm asking is would I be silly to stick with my old phone and pop a pay ay you go sim in ( am currently holding the 02 card in my hand which seems to work fine in the phone) or should I just hang fire and see if I could possibly get a better deal off vodafone.  

I know other service providers are offering a much better contract deal on the Blackberry 9780 (white) but I've never had problem with vodafone and would like to think of myself as a loyal customer.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi there!

I am on a Sim only contract 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500 mb of data.  The cost .............................. a staggering £15 per month.  I already have a mobile with Vodafone which four years old ( Nokia E61i ) which is now unlocked (sorry).

This is the second Sim only contract with Vodafone.  I may just go for another sim only contract but with an unlocked new iPhone 4 - Vodafone - do you have any good deals going in October 2011??
