unhelpful customer support

Hi all

Well where can i start, trying to upgrade one of my 3 phones.Went online to see which phones were available, most phones were available and free , anyway was going into town so decided to do upgrade in local store, tolde them which phone i was intrested in (galaxy SII) only to be told there was a fee first it was £100 then it dropped to £41, told them i had checked online prior to coming to store and said phone would be free to which i was told best thing i could do is phone customer support.

Went home phoned customer support , guess what as useual they where busy so arranged a call back for between 25-50  mins.Call back came half way through explaining when was cut off,so phoned again arranged another call back 30-64 mins:mansad: ,call back came but just went dead , so called again to arrange THIRD call back 20-35 mins call back came explained only to be told that it must only be an online deal and no other help offered. So posted on early upgrade section still no reply.

So where are all the moderators,i have been a VF customer more than 10 year and this is the first time i have encountered any problem trying to upgrade and with customer support.

Any help would be helpful :smileysad:

Re: unhelpful customer support

Hi gargalla,

I am moderating the eForum at the moment however, I have logged your post to be worked by one of the team as soon as possible.

We do work on a first come first serve basis and ain to answer all of our customers as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, due to the current traffic on the eForum it is taking a little longer than normal to respond to our customers.

James

Re: unhelpful customer support

Really hope the web relations team can be alittle more helpful than customer support.

As a long time VFcustomer i'am a little disappointed in them

:smileysad:

oh well another day passes with no response.

starting to get a little bit annoyed after all you are quick enough in taking my money every month so some response is not much to ask for:smileymad:

Re: unhelpful customer support

Hi gargalla

Thanks for your posts on this. I appreciate how frustrating the wait must have been for you but I’m happy to hear that you have now been contacted.

As I’m sure you can appreciate, with the recent release of the iPhone, we have been in high demand which has led to longer than normal waiting times.

Please let us know if you need anything else and we’ll be happy to help you further.

Thanks

Wayne
