When you started your contract, you would have agreed with Vodafone releasing details of any missed payment to credit reference
If the default was placed on your credit file before you paid the amount owing, then it will stay on your file as you were not up to date with your payments. The default should now be marked as satisfied on your credit file as you have paid all money owning.

but there will still be marks for late payments/no payments each month It was outstanding for.
sorry to say but if you don't pay your bills it ruins your credit history!

if you owe a company money for a certain ammount of months, it effects your credit raiting the whole idea of this is so other credit assesers can check to see if you pay your bills on time when you are meant to.
If you don't ahere to this, it marks your credit file and follows you arround.
sorry but its the harsh truth, unless the company are at fault their is no reason to remove it as you didn't pay your bill for a certain period of time so it goes againsed you.
