How can I get you to stop sending me bills?

A few months ago I cancelled my contract with you. The phone is no longer in use, and I can't even remember what the number was. However, you keep sending me bills. And every month, another £10 or so is added to the bill. I have tried telling you to stop this, as I have cancelled my phone, yet you still send the bills, and still add charges. You have also set debt collectors on me, and I have told them the same.
You threaten that you will cut the phone off. Given that the phone is no longer in use, and you can see that it is no longer in use, what do you hope to achieve by cutting me off?
All I want you to do is stop sending me your bills. You can see that the phone has not been in use. I cancelled it.

This was the gist of your last email:

Your bill for account number ending 9776 is ready.

The email you sent this to is the same email I used to register this account I am posting with now.

I am having to resort to this method of communication, as no other one has worked so far. Please sort it out.

@SortItOutMuppet - Thanks for posting and I’m sorry to hear the experience you’re having with trying to get this resolved.

It sounds like there was still an active number on your account.

One of the credit specialists in my team can look into what’s happened and help to get to the bottom of this.

Please send us your details by following the instructions in this private message.

Hi, I cannot fill in that form, as it requires me to enter a UK mobile as a contact number. I no longer live in the UK, and don't have a UK mobile any more. This was why I cancelled it in the first place!

@SortItOutMuppet Please enter the Vodafone mobile number that you had when you were with us.

As we'd be unable to call you on that number, you can include an alternative number that we can reach you on when entering your query. If you'd prefer us not to call, you can also state this when submitting your details and we'll be able to help over email.

Ok, I have sent a note using what I think was the old number.
