Right for about 3 days i havnt been able to receive mms pictures, allthough i can send.

I was put through on the vodafone contact centre to the samsung site to get config settings, i installed them and afterwards couldnt even access the interent. So i therefore i added my vpn setting to access the net. I can sti send but not recieve, beyond a joke really, this needs sorting if you can help...

Why these still have not been put up for the S2 i will never no

If your settings ar like thses then it will work

When I set the APN settings for MMS it doesnt show the circle to click green, so my settings are continually stuck on WAP. Anyone help me please ? I use to receive MMS Files ok but not anymore it always says "download failed, review message and try again"

When you put a new apn on its not saving the settings ?

or is it just not showing up

Have you put the name as internet ?

and did you save the settings and not just press the back button ?

Hi there,

Am having same problems with mms, can send but when I receive I get the user retrieval failed message.  Have tried these settings and still no good.  Have also tried other settings that I have found online but I get same problem.  Have even spoken to Vodafone who seem completely baffled by it.  Any other ideas???

Have you recently upgraded to ICS?

If you have a Vodafone branded phone you should have been sent the setting after the upgrade.

Have tried these settings but still doesnt work.  When it says about re-boot is that like a factory reset?

No, a reboot is just that, a factory re-set will delete all your files, apps etc... and will give you a warning that you are doing so.

I would suggest a quick read of http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Samsung-Galaxy-S2/IMPORTANT-CORRECT-APN-settings-for-Contract-Interne... which will have you up and running in no time.

Some times you do have to switch between the two. Have no idea to this day why nut about once a month I have to.

Ive tried all these settings and still it doesnt work.  I did reset apn to default and it worked for about an hour and then went back to user retrieval failed whenever I receive mms.  Im assuming a hard reset wouldnt change anything?  Problems seem to arise around the ICS upgrade......

There has been some awesome support here, please can you text WEB to 40127 and this will send the correct MMS and internet settings for your device.
