CCleaner is a good program to have as it keeps your Registry clean
What has happend is
When you uninstall the program it carn't remove the registry entries this can be down to the security of the compuiter mainly as it needs to be done as a administrator
some programs will remove there entrise on a restart
When repairing computers for people a simple thing like cleaning the registry can bring computers back to life
Mac is a tricy one but on your phone anable debugging
then plug in your phone
let the mac sort the drivers out
then uplug the phone
Turn debugging off, then turn the ohone off wait for it to vibrat onece then turn the phone back on
put the phone to samsung kies
Open kies up
then plug in the phone
Now the mack then should open a file view screen just like a usb drive
If this does not happen then there is a problem with the usb driver
you need to view your device manager and it should show in the list
with macs its a pain but if it shows unistall the phone wait then unplug the phone an plug it back in
Kies is still being polished for macs
the main thing is that the mac sees the phone in Kies mode if it doesn't kies will not see it
so that needs sorting first
