Now i did not have chance to try all the features but it is a good phone hopfully they will fix the bugs if they haven't all ready as the firmware was a Develper firmware.
There was alot of features that were hiddern until yourealy started to play with the phone
As for the design of the phone it did not light my fire this was a Disapointment to much plastic.
I thought they would of kept the good points of the Galaxy s but instead they removed them

Sorry to all G2 users the phone i had was on 2.3.1 firmware a Developer firmware which has got problems as some of us have now found out
2.3.3 has fixed alot of problmes.
This was the only one i could review and work with
I shall leave it up to Tom if he wants to leave this on as a review of the phone or let some else have a go with a Differnt SG2

I think having both phones side by side worked really well...!
I thought the video was very informative and gave a real feel of how the phone worked.
As you touched on in the video, the lack of themes is a real shame with Samsung! I would hope they introduce that feature in the future.
I don't think there is enough difference to make me swap my beloved SGS, for the SGSII.

Just to add I have been chatting with my contact at Samsung and the GPS fix problem has been fixed with 2.3.3 and I'm confident that it will be the same lock speed as mine and all the other bugs that were reported from the pre release Phones were sorted.
But as we no the Battery one has yet to be fixed, But there on with that as well. I can see that there is a lot of development in the SGS2 and it will take over from the SGS.
One point I did not mention about the Camera was that it sticks out at the back so it could get scratched, If you measure the width with the SGS its almost the same
If i had to choose from scratch i would go for the G2, But as i have my SGS i'm happy but any one upgrading the G2 is the phone to go for
