Do not really get what rooting or anything is but seen it on here a lot.
NOW I am worried. Replacement s2 delivered today. Checked battery level on "phone" and then looked at kernel level and it says:
2.6.35.7-I9100BUKE1-CL182896root@ DELL 105 #2
What does this mean? Has someone had this phone before and rooted it? Does that invalidate waranty? Please help!

I don't think it is, according to this post on XDA, that's the pre-root kernel

Hi, I have the phone and have the exact same kernel version as you. Phone's from Vodafone and has never been modified. Cheers - Steve
